CMT Golra defeat Army

ISLAMABAD - CMT Golra defeated Army by five wickets in the opening match of the RDCA, Sheikh Muhammad Rafiq Azhar Memorial cricket tournament that kicked off on Monday at Rawalpindi. Major General Farooq Iqbal graced the opening ceremony as a chief guest. However, Army scored 206 runs with the major share of Sanaullah (62) and Shahid Khan (55). Asif Junior, Tariq Mehmood and Muhammad Rameez got each three wickets for the winners. CMT Golra achieved their target 207 for losing five batsmen. Maqsood Aslam scored 55 runs while Raza Butt scored 53 runs not out. Mamtaz was also not out at 46. Shoaib snared two wickets. Also, Brig Dildar Bungash, Sabhi Azhar, Ashraf Qureshi, Asif Bajwa, Zaheer Ahmed Khan, Sajjad, Raja Nazakat and Bashir Ahmed were also present on this eve.
