Pakistan condemns attack in China

ISLAMABAD - Pakistan on Sunday strongly condemned the barbaric terrorist attack at a train station in Yunnan province of China in which 33 people were killed and more than a hundred sustained injuries.
“Being themselves victims of terrorism, the people of Pakistan fully understand and share the pain of the people of China,” Foreign Office spokesperson said in a statement. She said that terrorism in all its forms and manifestations constitutes one of the most serious threats to international peace and security. “We are ready to extend all possible cooperation to China in combating this menace,” the spokesperson said, adding, “Our prayers and thoughts are with the families of victims of this terrorist attack.”
