IHC body on fake houses in G-14 seeks more time

ISLAMABAD - The commission of Islamabad High Court (IHC) formed to look into the complaints of construction of fake houses in Sector G-14 to get compensation money has requested the court to extend the deadline for the report submission.
According to sources, IHC commission of District and Sessions Judge (Retd) Chaudhry Mazhar Hussain could not complete the report on the issue till October 31, which was the deadline for the submission of the report and requested the court to give one month more time to complete the inquiry.
It is relevant to mention here that the IHC commission started inquiry on Federal Government Employees Housing Foundation (FGEHF) complaint that some persons had constructed small rooms in G-14 after the acquisition of the land by the authorities for development to get compensation money or plots. While the foundation officials claimed that the rooms were too small to live that is an evidence of their fakeness.
The foundation alleged that the dummy rooms have been built with the connivance of the police and district management, especially land revenue department, thus should not be included in the awards.
The commission recorded the statement of the concerned persons on daily basis and visited the site, besides retrieving the relevant data from google during the last month.
