Islamabad - Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq and Deputy Speaker Murtaza Javed Abbasi have strongly condemned the blast near Wagah Border, Lahore and expressed deep grief over the loss of precious lives. In their separate messages issued here on Sunday, they termed the incident a barbaric and shameful act of terrorism. They said that the elements involved in such activities were enemies of humanity and the country.  They said that such acts could not deter the government from its firm resolve to fight against terrorism.
They were confident that the culprits involved in such activities would not be spared and brought to justice. They prayed to Almighty Allah to rest the departed souls in eternal peace and grant courage to bereaved families to bear irreparable loss with fortitude. He also prayed for early recovery of injured.
