Rawalpindi - Doctors and lady health workers yesterday held an awareness walk in the rural area for the cause of ‘Mother and Child’ health safety week starting from December 05.

The walk was held in Hayal Shareef, where medical staff including lady health workers of Basic Health Unit participated in it to spread awareness about health safety of mother and child in the area.

The participants were holding banners with the recommendations and precautions regarding health of mother and child.

Awareness walk was organized by Dr Tauqeer Arshad, senior lady health visitor Nazima Afzal and lady health supervisor Aasia Zulfiqar, in which medical staff along with the local inhabitants also participated.

Local population of the area appreciated the step of hospital administration in arranging such activity, as it will help in making health of people better.
