ISLAMABAD- Mushahid Hussain Syed said that the joint session of the Parliament had started showing positive results as there was a wider consensus among political parties and armed forces about Pakistan’s democratic future.

In his speech, he appreciated the government for pursuing the path of dialogue to steer the country out of current crisis. It is also encouraging that important decisions in the prevailing crisis were taken within the Parliament without any intervention.

He said the country will see a peaceful and amicable solution of the turmoil well before the visit of Chinese President which is very important in terms of further strengthening relations with China.
