Dozen outlaws held; stolen bikes, weapons recovered

ISLAMABAD - Islamabad police claimed arresting a dozen outlaws from various areas of the city and recovering stolen bikes, weapons and other things from their possession.
According to a spokesperson of ICT police, Sihala police arrested two thieves including Haseeb and Sajid and recovered two stolen bikes as well as 30-bore pistols along with ammunition from their possession.
Police stations of Nilore and Loi Bher arrested two accused namely Bilal and Mulazam Hussain and recovered two pistols from their possession. Bhara Kahu police arrested drug pusher namely Kamran and recovered 1.1 kilograms hashish from him. Sabzi Mandi police arrested Qayyum Ali and recovered one dagger from him. “Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is under way,” the police spokesperson said. He added that police also nabbed four proclaimed offenders during crackdown against absconders and have accelerated the efforts to arrest those who are at large despite their involvement in crimes of heinous nature.
Meanwhile, four vehicles and 37 bikes were also impounded during checking which were being driven without authentic documents. Police team also apprehended seven suspects from various areas of the city during search operation while nine alms seekers have been also nabbed.
