The Parliamentarians of Pakistan Muslim League (Q) Riaz Pirzada and Sardar Bahadur Ahmed Khan Sihar have resigned from National Assemblys Public National Committee after assuming the charge as Federal Minister for Interfaith Harmony, Minorities Affairs and State Minister for Defence Production respectively. Both PML-Q Parliamentarians were the members of PAC. Riaz Hussain Pirzada on Thursday attended the committee meeting and tendered his resignation as committee member. He thanked the PAC Chairman Ch. Nisar Ali Khan and committee members for their cooperation. According to the rules and regulations, the minister can not be a member of PAC. On the other hand, Chairman PAC Ch. Nisar Ali Khan has asked Speaker National Assembly Dr. Fehmida Mirza to appoint 2 new members of PAC.
