According to a survey, rents are rising in such a fast manner that it is not in capacity with the earnings of employees and daily wagers who spent a great deal of their earnings in paying rents of their rooms or residencies. School teachers and office boys working in different organizations and institutions said they were paying a reasonable part of their income to private flats and rooms owners where they have to share a room with three or four other persons to get some relief in rent. They lamented that the owners fix rents of the rooms and flats on their own terms and demands.
