KARACHI - Six persons were killed in different incidents on Monday. As per detail, a security guard of a local restaurant was killed in an incident of target killing at Rashid Minhas Road in the limits of Sharah-e-Faisal police station. Police said that the victim was identified as Moinullah Khan, 50, resident in a local restaurant situated at Rashid Minhas Road. Some unidentified gunmen came on a car and opened indiscriminate firing. Resultantly, Moin died on the spot while the culprits managed to flee from the scene. Police shifted the body to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for legal formalities and handed over to his brother Amar Jan. The victim was hailed from Waziristan. Police suspected some personal enmity behind the incident and registered an FIR 297/2010 against Gulzar and Chinior on the complaint of victims brother. In another incident, police found the body of a young man from a garbage drum at Old Golimar within the limits of Pak Colony police station. According to police, identity of the victim was yet to be ascertained. Some unidentified culprits kidnapped the victim and later thrown his body after killing. Police shifted his body to Civil Hospital Karachi for legal formalities and later shifted to Edhi Morgue for identification. Meanwhile, a man shot himself dead over a family dispute in Liaquatabad within the limits of Super Market police station. Police said that the victim Danish, son of Muhammad Nabi, returned home from his workplace and committed suicide after a quarrel with his wife. He was the resident of House No 657, Sector-2 Liaquatabad. The locals informed the police about the incident. Police shifted the body to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for autopsy. The deceased left a child. He used to run a catering shop. In another incident, an elderly woman was crushed to death near Sea View in the limits of Darakshan police station. Police said the victim was identified as Nora Maii who was crossing the road when a speedy vehicle hit her and escaped. Police shifted the body to JPMC for legal formalities. Similarly, a teenage boy was crushed to death near Keamari Town Office in the limits of Mauripur police station. Police said that the identity of the victim was yet to be ascertained. A speedy truck (TK-214) hit a motorcycle (QAT-9461) which resulted in the death of 18-year-old boy. Police rushed to the spot and arrested the responsible driver Saeed. Police shifted his body to Civil Hospital for legal formalities. No case was registered till the filing of this report. Separately, rescue team found two-day-old drowned body from Hawksbay in the limits of Mauripur police station. Police said that the victim was identified as Danish, son of Yasir, resident of Pahar Ganj Nazimabad. He came here two days ago for a picnic and went missing while taking bath. Rescuers found his body after 48 hours. Police shifted the body to Civil Hospital and later handed over to his family.
