ISLAMABAD  – Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry has constituted four benches including a special bench at the principal seat to hear a number of important cases in the next week starting from Monday (August 6).
The first bench is comprised of Chief Justice, Justice Jawwad S Khawaja and Justice Tariq Parvez,the second bench members included Justice Asif Saeed Khan Khosa, Justice Amir Hani Muslim and Justice Ijaz Ahmed Chaudhry while the third bench consists of Justice Ejaz Afzal Khan and Justice Sh Azmat Saeed.
The Special bench formed for hearing of NRO and cases in NAB consist of Justice Asif Saeed Khan Khosa,Justice Amir Hani Muslim,Justice Ejaz Afzal Khan, Justice Ijaz Ahmed Chaudhry and Justice Sh. Azmat Saeed.
It is pertinent to mention here that SC would take up several important cases during the next week include illegal occupation, one of the hostels of Rawalpindi Medical College by NAB Authorities,Progress Report on behalf of NAB in OGRA cases and case regarding obscene and other objectionable material carried in the media. According to cause lists, no application for adjournment through fax will be placed before the Court.
