Rally condemns Indian occupation on Kashmir

Rawalpindi -  Jamat-e-Islami Rawalpindi took out a protest rally to condemn Indian occupation on Kashmir and to express solidarity with Kashmiri people here on Thursday.
The rally, which was taken from Liaquat Bagh to Al-Ikram Building on Murree Road, was led by JI Pakistan Central Spokesman Ameerul Azeem while attended by JI local leaders, President PREM Union Ishtiaq, President Rickshaw Union Muhammad Ameen and people belonging to various walks of life.
The protestors were carrying placards and banners mentioning words against Indian aggression against Kashmiris and in favour of freedom fighters. They also bellowed full-pitched slogans against India and international community.
Addressing the protestors, the speakers vehemently denounced Indian occupation on Kashmir. They also paid rich tribute to those who sacrificed their lives for Kashmir cause. They said that Kashmiri people shed their blood to expel the Indians from their homeland and that was why core issue of Kashmir was in light today. They said that United Nations and other international community did not provide justice to Kashmiris as despite passing a resolution of giving self determination to Kashmiris it could not be implemented so far. “The UN is playing double game and its dual face can be judged from the fact that resolution it passed in case of East Taimoor Referendum was implemented with its true letter and spirit but Kashmir issue is still lingering” said JI Pakistan Central Spokesman Ameer ul Azeem.

Come what may, hearts of Pakistani nation would throb for Kashmiris and one day Kashmir would be freed from the cruel jaws of India, said JI General Secretary Zia Ullah Chohan in his address. The Indian occupation on Kashmir was illegal and its forces were playing havoc with innocent Kashmiris. The UN and other international community should take notice of this injustice, said JI district Ameer Shamans ur Rehman Swati.
The speakers demanded of the government to take up the core issue of Kashmir at the UN seriously.
