ISLAMABAD (Online) - A paint-making factory located at Sector I-10/2 on Sunday caught fire suddenly, reducing valuables of Rs12.5 million to ashes but no casualty was reported. According to details, a private paint-company at Sector I-10/2 caught fire suddenly and gripped the whole company within seconds, reducing valuables of about 12.5 million rupees present in the godown to ashes. According to factory administration, the luggage gripped by the fire was about of 12.5 million rupees, including readymade paint and other chemicals used in making of paints. According to eyewitnesses, fire brigade vehicles reached the site after twenty five minutes, however, the fire could not be put off through water after which the CDA called in the additional fire force and succeeded in extinguishing the fire. However, being a public holiday on Sunday, no casualty was reported. It was not known what caused the fire, however, according to administration short circuit might caused the incident.
