rawalpindi - DCO Talat Mehmood Gondal has directed the departments concerned to remain alert during Eid holidays and take every possible steps to control dengue.  Presiding over a meeting here to review arrangements made to prevent dengue larva breeding, he directed all departments concerned to keep a close liaison with each other to wipe out the outbreak threat of dengue.

He said situation regarding dengue in Rawal Town is better as compared to previous year due to consistence efforts of the department concerned. He directed the health officers to induct trained personnel in teams constituted for the purpose, adding that anti dengue brigades should be active and vibrant. The meeting was attended by officials of health, Rawal Town and RSWMC department.
