CDA demolishes illegal constructions

Islamabad - Enforcement Directorate of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) on Thursday, during different anti-encroachment operations, demolished several illegal constructions and retrieved CDA land from illegal occupants.
As per the directions of Chairman CDA, Maroof Afzal, during different operations against illegal constructions, teams of Enforcement Directorate demolished one illegally constructed room and four boundary walls in Katchi Abadi Sector H-9, two illegally constructed shops in Dhok Tahhli, three rooms in Village Rimli and four illegally constructed boundary walls in area of Muslim Colony Bari Imam.  
Similarly, during other operations, boundary wall of under-construction CNG station in area of Dhreak Mohri Sector D-12, one under-construction shop adjacent to Turbo CNG along the IJP Road and two illegally constructed rooms in Saidpur Model Village were also demolished. Moreover, during anti-encroachment operations in I.T Centre G-9/4, Sitara Market Sector G-7 and in Khana Pul area enforcement staff removed encroachments from these areas and confiscated six trucks of encroachment material.
Meanwhile, Member Administration and Estate, Amer Ali Ahmed has directed the Enforcement Directorate to continue anti-encroachment operations on daily basis and ensure effective monitoring to discourage the re-occurrence of encroachments to maintain the natural beauty of the capital city.
