Judges’ detention case against Musharraf adjourned to May 8

The hearing of the bail plea in the judges’ detention case against former military ruler Pervez Musharraf, scheduled to take place on Monday, was adjourned until May 8.
The hearing was scheduled to take place at the Chak Shahzad sub-jail but was postponed without any proceedings.
It was postponed due to the absence of anti-terrorist court special judge Kausar Abbas Zaidi.
The bail application was filed on Saturday.
The case is one of three against Musharraf in courts. He is also accused of involvement in a conspiracy to murder Benazir Bhutto in 2007 and over the 2006 killing of Baloch nationalist leader Akbar Khan Bugti.
