Efforts on for edu promotion in Punjab: MPA

Rawalpindi - Provincial Parliamentary Secretary and PML-N MPA, Chaudhry Sarfraz Afzal has said that the government is acting up a unique policy for promotion of education in the province.
He said that the special attention was being paid on the missing facilities in the educational institutions. The programs like Danish School System and Perho Punjab Berho Punjab would open new opportunities for the poor to get their children educated. “Chief Minister Punjab Mian Shahbaz Sharif has been allocating record funds for bringing betterment in the fields of health and education. Besides providing basic facilities in schools and colleges, improving education system is the part of educational roadmap of the CM,” he added.
Chaudhry Sarfraz Afzal expressed these views after inaugurating Government Boys Degree College here at Rehmatabad on Tuesday. The college was built with the cost of over Rs 500 million.
The ground breaking ceremony was also attended by Director Colleges Prof Humayun Iqbal, EDO Education Qazi Zahoorul Haq, former MPA Raja Asad Mehmood, PML-N workers and office-bearers, and a large numbers of students.
“Only those nations go forward which educate their people. We will have to educate our youth and children if we want to make Pakistan stong,” he said, adding that the CM Punjab had set up IT labs in all the educational institutions in the province. He urged the people to send their children to schools and colleges for education so that they could play a leading role in the country’s development. He said that PML-N was committed to solving public maladies.
