RAWALPINDI  – After gambling on sporting events across the globe, bookies have started betting on different candidates of mainstream political parties, including Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in the upcoming general elections.
Bookies have fixed rates of candidates according to their worth and calibre. Sources said that Zamarud Khan of the PPP was rated at 1.45, PTI chief Imran Khan at 1.40, Malik Ibrar of PML-N at 1.55 and Hanif Abbasi of PML-N was rated the highest at 1.60. Bookies have started booking for the gambling.
