ISLAMABAD- Chairman Senate Defence Committee, Mushahid Hussain Sayed has expressed the hope that with the election of the new Secretary General, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) will be injected with renewed vigor, vitality and dynamism. The meeting with the new Secretary General Iyad Ameen Madani was held in a friendly atmosphere at the Parliament House. Pakistan attaches high hopes in the OIC’s new leadership to serve as an effective spokesman for the cause of oppressed Muslims in Palestine and Kashmir, Senator added. He regretted over the incompetence of Muslim regimes that have failed to take any effective measures to counter Israeli aggression in Gaza.
