'Naval Complex blast injured in stable condition'

ISLAMABAD (APP) - Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) on Monday said that all three Naval complex bomb blast wounded were out of danger and their condition was stable now. PIMS authorities said the injured included six-year-old child Jonathen who was brought to the hospital in an unconscious state due to a head injury caused in Fridays attack. Hospital sources added as a result of two-hour successful operation conducted by the team of neurosurgeons the child was now out of danger. They said the child was now fully conscious and would be discharged soon. Another injured named Abid, a driver of NHA, who had received injury in his right leg, had been discharged after providing necessary treatment in the emergency department. They said Riffat, a 40-year-old civilian employee of the Pakistan Navy who suffered from neuronal injury of right upper limb was undergoing nerve conduction studies to evaluate his nerve injury. They said a splinter damaged his nerves and he suffered from a wound on right side of his neck. They however said that the patient was out of danger and was recovering.
