islamabad - Islamabad police conducted search operation in various areas of the city and arrested 87 suspects, a police spokesman said on Wednesday.

According to details, officials of Islamabad police conducted search and combing operation in various areas and nabbed 87 suspects.

The nabbed suspects have been shifted to relevant police stations and further investigation is underway. During special checking, police also impounded 276 bikes and nine vehicles having no documents.

Meanwhile, Aabpara police arrested Amant Ali and recovered four liquor bottles from him. Karachi Company police arrested Muhammad Saleem involved in a theft case.

Golra police arrested two accused Muhammad Iqbal and Afzal Khan involved in illegal diesel selling.

Shalimar police arrested Waqas and recovered one 30-bore illicit pistol from him.
