President Mamnoon Hussain appreciated role of Asian Productivity Organization in promoting productivity-related activities for strengthening economic sectors of Pakistan.
Secretary General Asian Productivity Organization Mari Amano called on President Mamnoon Hussain in Islamabad Wednesday and apprised the President about Asian Productivity Organization‚ Japan‚ its various activities and projects aimed at enhancing productivity in various sectors of economy in Pakistan.
He informed the President that mission of APO is to contribute to the socio economic development of Asia Pacific region through mutual cooperation by enhancing productivity of all economic sectors‚ enabling APO member countries to become more productive and competitive.
Pakistan currently enjoys the status of the Vice Chair of Governing Body of APO.
