Foreign Minister Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Qureshi left here on Tuesday for New York to have consultations with the UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon on Pakistan's request for international inquiry under the UN into the tragic assassination of former Premier Benazir Bhutto. The Foreign Minister during his stay in New York will also hold talks with Permanent Representatives of the UN Security Council member countries on this issue. Shah Mahmood Qureshi will also pay a daylong visit to Washington on 11 July to meet US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, members of the Congress, senior US officials, and representatives of the Pakistani community.
