ISLAMABAD - Pak-Turk international schools & colleges are competing with the world for Pakistan, as Alam Khatoon and Vishah Nazim of Pak-Turk H-8 campus have won gold medal in the 4th Edition of Golden Climate International Environmental Project Olympiad, May 2014 held in Kenya.
The event hosted over 250 students from 26 countries at Kenyatta International Convention Centre. The winning project was in category of energy "superior breaking system for mountain vehicles in poor countries".
Students prepared this project under the supervision of their physics teacher Rafiud Din.
The main aim of making this project was to save the life of people in poor countries, which are devoid of advanced technology by making the breaking system more reliable and perfect.
Such scientific competitions encourage students from around the world to develop projects that can solve energy crisis and can play a pivotal role in order to minimise road accidents. Such efforts at national and international level have always tremendous repercussions for the world in general and Pakistan in particular.
