F-9 Park in a shambles

Islamabad - Fatima Jinnah Park, also known is F-9 Park, is losing its attraction due to utter negligence and improper management.
The area of the park, which is opposite to sector F-8, is the most neglected one, as grassy lawns there have not been mowed. The artificial lakes have been turned into stinky ponds which are now breeding grounds for mosquitoes. The electric poles are without bulbs and have become disfigured due to substandard material used in their production. Fountains and aquariums are also dysfunctional. Moreover, the footpaths, jogging tracks and a bridge on a nullah, which were made of stone tiles, are deteriorating rapidly.
The residents of the federal capital have demanded of the authorities concerned to pay heed to the park and renovate it as early as possible.
