ISLAMABAD - Federal Minister for National Heritage and Integration Samina Khalid Gurki, Chairman Pakistan Academy of Letters (PAL) Abdul Hameed and President Idara-e-Adab-o-Saqaft Tariq Shahid have expressed deep grief over the death of prominent Novelist Razia Butt.
In their separate condolence messages, they said that Razia Butt was one of the major novelists of the Pakistan who wrote more than 50 novels.
Some of her novels have been adapted into television serials also.
They said that she will ever enjoy a unique position among great novel writers and in the field of Urdu literature.
They said that Razia Butt’s demise is a great loss to Urdu Fiction.
They prayed for the eternal peace for the soul of Razia Butt and patience for her family.
