Nine outlaws held

Islamabad - Islamabad police Thursday arrested nine outlaws from various areas of the city and recovered 30-litre liquor, 465 gram heroin, 310 gram hashish and weapons from their possession, a police spokesman said.

According to details, Koral Police nabbed Liaqat for having 310 gram hashish while Bilal Nasir was held for possessing a motorbike whose chassis and engine numbers were found tampered during checking from laboratory.

Bhara Kahu police arrested Abdul Sattar and Ghulam Shabbir for having a 44-bore rifle and one 30-bore pistol respectively.

Karachi Company police arrested a bootlegger Khuram Shehzad and recovered 30-litre liquor from him while two other accused Abdul Rehman and Nauman were nabbed for decanting gas in cylinders illegally.

Tarnol police arrested Sajid Mehmood and Sohaib Abbassi in possession of a total of 465 gram heroin. Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is underway.
