Federal Defence Minister Ahmed Mukhtar verified the shoe-hurling incident involving President Asif Ali Zardari in a public gathering of Pakistan People's Party (PPP) in Britain, report said on Tuesday. Mukhtar said, 'I was present at the meeting and I was told that shoes were flung at President Zardari. Earlier, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Qamar Zaman Kaira also said the incident would be looked into.
