Charging of higher than government fixed rate for CNG has been challenged in Islamabad High Court. According to a private TV channel, Muhamamd Ashfaq Chaudhry of People's Movement has filed a petition in which Federal Ministry for Petroleum and Oil & Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) have been made parties. The petition said the government revised the CNG price to Rs 41.83 per kg and demanded that those charging higher rate than this be dealt with strictly.
