Civil Service Laws in Pakistan launched

ISLAMABAD - Shahzado Langah, with tremendous efforts, has compiled a unique book titled Civil Service Laws in Pakistan. Published by the National Book Foundation Islamabad, this book has been compiled after detailed research work on the Civil Servants Act 1973 regarding the appointment, promotion and transfer rules for civil servants. The author has also painstakingly incorporated the verdicts of 3000 civil service cases by all four High Courts; the AJK High Court; service tribunals and the Supreme Court. Federal and provincial servants may find the book useful, and it may provide guidance to Federal and Provincial service tribunals, High Courts and the Supreme Court, advocates, judges, and civil servants on the judging service matters quickly. Moreover, book is very useful for the Federal and Provincial Government training institutions, particularly the Defense Staff College, the Civil Service Academy Lahore, the Pakistan Secretariat Training Institute Islamabad, the Foreign Services Academy Islamabad, the Information Services Academy Islamabad, the Federal Judicial Academy Islamabad, the Pakistan Rural Academy Peshawar, the Academy of Educational Planning and Management Islamabad, and The National Police Academy Islamabad. It may also be used as a reference book by all the colleges and universities, and is quite useful for L.L.B students and teachers.
