DASKA - The victim girl, who was being assaulted for many weeks, along with her family, has demanded protection and arrest of kidnappers who had been threatening them of dire consequences while DPO has disclosed that police had arrested the nominated accused.
According to the FIR, Aleesha (22) told the police that two outlaws namely Sajid Maseeh and Ilyas Butt, the residents of Akbarabad-Sialkot had kidnapped her from Fatehgarh, Sialkot, a month ago.
They took her to the house of accused Khawaja Shahid at Bhatti Colony where Sajid Maseeh kept on assaulting her and later, sold her to Khawaja Shahid in Rs20,000, she added.
Aleesha alleged that Khawaja Shahid and his wife, Shazia alias Lado, forcibly had been using her as prostitute for two weeks.
However, she managed to contact her parents who after paying Rs20,000 to Shahid, got her released from their custody.
Meanwhile, talking to the newsmen, she along with her family stated that the outlaws were influential and still at a large who had been threatening them of dire consequences.
They demanded Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, IG Police Tariq Saleem Dogar, Regional Police Officer (RPO) Gujranwala Zulfiqar Ahmad Cheema and Sialkot District Police Officer (DPO) Waqar Ahmad Chohan to provide them security and ensure the early arrest of the accused.
When contacted, DPO Waqar Ahmad Chohan told that police had arrested accused Sajid Maseeh and further investigation was underway.
