RAWALPINDI - Elementary teachers have decided not to participate in the anti-polio campaign scheduled to start from today (Monday).
The association of elementary teachers holds the stance that the participation of teachers in anti-polio campaign is against the dignity of their profession.
According to the president of teachers’ association, Ausaf Satti, if any action is taken against the boycotting teachers, they will besiege the office of the administration.  On the other hand, DHO Rawalpindi, Dr Khalid Ranjha has said that the services of volunteers will be sought as an alternate arrangement to carry out the anti-polio campaign.
