ISLAMABAD: Capital police on Monday arrested eight lawbreakers from various areas of the city and recovered 2.50 kilograms hashish, two pistols, 11 wine bottles and 50 tin beers from their possession, a police spokesman said.
According to details, police on a tip off, raided the hideout of dacoits and arrested four persons namely Sadar Khan, Eagel Khan, Izhar Gul and Tahir Ali.
According to a press note issued from the office of SSP Islamabad, Police team recovered two 30-bore pistols along with 10 bullets from their possession. Further investigation is under way. A case FIR No.141/13 has been registered against them at Secretariat police station under sections 399/402, A-O, 13/20 /65.
Meanwhile police arrested a drug pusher Amin-Ullah and recovered 2.50 kilograms hashish from him. In another raid, police arrested two bootleggers namely Danyal and Bollage and recovered three wine bottles and 50 tin beers from their possession. Separately police arrested bootleggers Yousaf Masih and recovered 08 wine bottles from him.–Staff Reporter
