Rawalpindi - Regional Police Officer (RPO) Wisal Fakhar Sultan Raja yesterday directed the police officers to intensify search operations in the area where educational institutions are located aimed to ensure safety and security of students.
He also ordered the school and college administrations to improve security arrangements to protect the lives of students and faculty members in case of any untoward incident. Wisal also visited the Beacon House School System on Peshawar Road and reviewed security measures there.
Meanwhile, RPO issued transferred and posting orders of 4 inspectors in different districts of the region. RPO transferred Inspector Mehmood Hussain from Chakwal and posted him at Jhelum while Inspector Shahid Mehmood was transferred from Jhelum to Rawalpindi and Inspector Mansab was transferred from Rawalpindi to Attock. Inspector Noor Hassan was sent Rawalpindi from Attock.
On the other hand, Inspector General of Police Mushtaq Ahmed Sukhera held video link conference with the RPOs. During video link address, IG expressed his satisfaction over low crime rate in Rawalpindi.
