ISLAMABAD : Syed Khursheed Shah, opposition leader in National Assembly, Monday said that both Imran Khan and Dr Tahirul Qadri would be responsible if democracy is derailed due to their marches. Talking to newspersons outside the Parliament, Shah said that Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) would resist all the attempts endangering the democratic system in the country. Both Imran and Qadri are seemed to moving the country towards anarchy, he added.
“Future of the country is in democracy. All the political parties accepted Nawaz Sharif as prime minister and now after 15 months he is not being accepted as PM of this country,” he added. Shah said the PPP tried to convince Imran Khan to resolve the matter politically. “It is being felt that Imran and Qadri have the same agenda and they are going to repeat the events of 1977,” the opposition leader felt.
