No compromise on Islamabad security: Nisar

ISLAMABAD  - Law enforcement agencies have given final touches to the security plan prepared to keep the marchers of Azadi March at bay from Islamabad.
Federal Interior Minister Chaudhary Nisar Ali Khan said on Monday that law enforcement agencies would leave no stone unturned to make capital city secure. "Three thousand troops of FC would join law enforcement agencies in Islamabad if required. We will not compromise on security of the federal capital," Nisar said.
This newspaper reported last week that 18,000 personnel of law enforcement agencies, including police, rangers and elite force, have been asked to remain high alert. They are expected to be deployed at their positions, according to plan, by midnight on 12th August. With additional troops of FC, number of personnel of law enforcement agencies has reached to 21,000.
