Rawalpindi - Fatima Jinnah Women University (FJWU) in collaboration with the University of Texas, USA, would organise an international conference titled “Gender, Social Sciences and Humanities: New Directions in Scholarship.” The opening ceremony of the three-day conference would be held on Wednesday (tomorrow), informed varsity spokesman yesterday. He said the conference aimed at bringing together leading national and international academics, researchers, gender analysts, and scholars to stimulate new ways of thinking about gender from the perspectives of social sciences and humanities.
Both international and national presenters will share their research studies on various themes and sub-themes of the conference, he added.
