RAWALPINDI - Traffic Police Rawalpindi has launched a massive campaign against the vehicles with the tinted glass during which coloured paper has been removed from the glasses of several motors. Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Rawalpindi SSP Dr Muhammad Akhtar Abbas stated this in a statement issued from his office here on Saturday. He said that tinted glass in the vehicles would not be tolerated at any cost as motors with coloured glass would not be allowed to ply on roads due to current wave of terrorism. CTO advised all the drivers to remove the black papers from the glass of the vehicles otherwise strict action would be taken against them and their vehicles would be impounded in the police stations besides giving them challan tickets of heavy fines. He said that there must be a clear visibility through the glass of each vehicle so that the people as well as police may identify that any terrorist is not using that motor. for any subversive activity. He said that all drivers and owners of the vehicles should comply with the rules and regulations for their safety as well as publics.
