In an interesting move, the government accepted the so far lying resignation of Secretary Law Justice (r) Aaqil Mirza after he has been summoned by the Supreme Court vis-a-vis implementation of NRO ruling case on Friday (tomorrow). A notification has also been released in this regard. The federal secretary law tendered his resignation from the coveted post on Friday last. Earlier, the apex court issued him a notice for not corresponding with the Swiss government regarding the Swiss cases on President Zardari. Aaqil, before his quitting, presented a report in the court, saying that the Swiss cases have been abolished and as such there is no need of correspondence with any foreign country.
