RAWALPINDI – Poor patients are facing severe problems due to the out of order CT scan machines at Benazir Bhutto Hospital, Rawalpindi.
Sources informed this agency that the MRI machine of Holy Family hospital has been out of order for last five years while the CT scan machine of Benazir Hospital is also out of order for years.
The source said that the business of private hospitals has increased due to the out of order machines at government hospitals, adding that the poor class people are in deep trouble, as they could not afford the expenses of the private hospitals.
The poor patients have said that the Chief Minister had announced millions of rupees funds for the poor people but they are deprived for it.
However the MS said that they are trying to mend the out of order machines, as soon as possible.
More than hundred patients come at the government hospitals for testing purpose but they have to go back to private hospitals for doing the tests, while the private hospitals demand a lot of money for the tests, which has endangered the lives of the poor.
