Federation has sent a request to Pakistan Bar Council (PBC) for initiating disciplinary action against Barrister Kamal Azfar. The government dispatch to the PBC says that Kamal Azfar was not associated with the federation as lawyer since October 10, 2010. His entitlement to plead the case was cancelled during hearing of the NRO case, but he appeared on April 11, 2011 before the Supreme Court during the NRO review hearing and told the court that he was prepared to argue over the petition, while he was not authorized to do so. The government plea says the lawyer has levelled baseless allegations against the federation in a plea to the Supreme Court.
