The government started collecting Haj applications throughout the country on Friday. This year, as many as 189, 000 Pakistanis would perform the religious obligation while applications would be approved on first come first serve basis. Under the new Haj Policy, applications for Haj pilgrims would be received till May 10. According to the new policy, there is not quota for President, Prime Minister and top government officials.
