726 rescuers to be passed out on 16th

RAWALPINDI - The passing out of rescuers trained for Peshawar & Mardan (KPK), Gilgit & Sakrdu (Gilgit Baltistan), and Taunsa & Rojhan (South Punjab) from Emergency Services Academy Pakistan will be held on June 16.
The rescuers have been trained at the Rescue 1122 Academy, so that modern Rescue 1122 emergency ambulance, rescue and fire services could also be provided to the citizens of other disaster prone Provinces of Pakistan.
The Fire and Safety Association of Pakistan appreciated the special initiative for establishment of Rescue 1122 in other provinces taken by the Chief Minister KPK Mr Ameer Haider Khan Hoti, Chief Minister Gilgit Baltistan, Syed Mehdi Shah and Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif.
The 726 rescuers about to pass out, included 313 rescuers from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 186 rescuers from Gilgit Baltistan and 227 rescuers for two tehsils of South Punjab were given specialized medical, rescue, firefighting and rescue from height  training.
The specialized training courses were arranged for the rescuers in the fields of Communication, Medical First Responder (MFR), Collapsed Structure Search & Rescue (CSSR), Communication Enhancement and Incident Command System.     The quality training of such a large number of rescuers with limited resources was a gigantic task has been achieved through close monitoring and weekly tests.
The emergency staff will be deputed in hospital at their respective districts for hands on skills in emergency department of teaching hospitals before final posting.
