One toddler was killed and nine people were injured in a powerful blast that rocked a residential colony of public servants at Kohat Road here Thursday. The blast occurred in a flat at Gulshan-e-Rehman Colony at Kohat Road Peshawar, a private TV channel reported, adding that it was as powerful as it severely damaged the two-story building and other nearby installations and parked vehicles. The colony houses quarters and flats used by the public servants and provincial government employees. Police and paramedics arrived at the scene soon after the blast and rushed the injured to the hospitals where conditions of many said to be critical.
