ISLAMABAD - Faridullah Khan, secretary capital administration and development division (CADD), was transferred on Friday on the charges of bad governance, while the Secretary Communication Secretary Communication Fateh Muhammad has been given the additional charge of secretary CADD.
Faridullah Khan has been transferred to Pakistan Tobacco Board, Peshawar, as chairman.
Rafique Tahir, CADD joint education advisor and spokesperson, has also been transferred to Planning Commission, confirmed a senior official of CADD.
Farid was charged with bad governance and irregularities in appointments in various departments of CADD, officials told The Nation. "About 10 departments of CADD have been lying headless since long. At Federal Directorate of Education, 12 directors are working against 8 seats. Illegal appointments and promotions were made in grade 17 and 19 in the human organs transplant authority (HOTA) and non-civil servants were appointed against the seats of civil servants," the officials alleged.
Non-teaching staff associations had also written applications to the PM office against the messy state of affairs at educational institutes.
Rafique Tahir declined to confirm the transfer of secretary CADD, saying until he receives any notification, he cannot confirm it.
