ISLAMABAD - Co-Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and former President Asif Ali Zardari on Friday demanded inquiry into attack on Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf's convoy, saying display of such intolerance will only add to existing tense political situation.Zardari strongly condemned the attack on the convoy of Imran Khan in Gujranwala and termed it as an "unacceptable demonstration of intolerance towards political dissent." Zardari also demanded inquiry, arrest of culprits and their punishment in accordance with law.PPP NOT TO SUPPORT PM'S RESIGNATION DEMAND: SHAHSyed Khursheed Shah, leader of opposition in the National Assembly (NA), has said that Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) will not support Chairman Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf Imran Khan's repeated demand for Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's resignation."I think the prime minister will not resign...PPP cannot support demand for PM's resignation," said Shah while talking to media persons here on Friday.Shah condemned attack on Imran Khan's convoy, saying that tradition of pelting rallies with stones should not be made. He demanded action against the culprits.
