ISLAMABAD – Justice (Retd) Khalil-ur-Rehman Ramday Monday met former Federal Minister J Salik, who is also Convener of the World Minorities Alliance, and discussed matters related to welfare of minorities in detail and offered his services in this regard.
According to a press release issued by the office of the World Minorities Alliance, Khalil ur Rehman Ramday talking about the offer made by J. Salik to become patron in chief of the Alliance said that he would seriously consider the offer to become patron of the Alliance.
During his visit to the residence of J.Salik which is commonly known as Peace House, Justice Ramday paid rich tributes to J Salk’s relentless struggle for protection and achievement of rights for world minorities.
He said J. Salk’s vision for establishment of World Minorities Parliament, World Minorities Uplift Bank and creation of a permanent seat for minorities in the United Nations was commendable.
He said a creative person like J Salik was quite capable of making his dreams come true.
J Salik presented Justice Ramday a copy of compiled columns written by renowned columnists of Pakistan on his (Salik’s) struggle for the rights of world minorities. J Salik welcoming Justice Ramday said that his visit to Peace House had enhanced the image of this House.
Justice (Retd) Ramday said he would hold more detailed meetings with J Salik in the near future. J Salik thanked Justice Ramday for visiting the Peace House and said he (Ramday) would be always welcomed in this House and expressed the hope that Justice Ramday would guide him for the welfare of Minorities.
