PTI's politics of agitation doomed to fail: Pervaiz

ISLAMABAD - Minister for Information, Broadcasting and National Heritage Senator Pervaiz Rashid on Tuesday said the politics of agitation and chaos by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf is doomed to fail and meet the same fate as happened in the past.

"If the PTI will continue with the present style of politics, it will further suffer deterioration and damage its own repute," he said talking to a private news channel.

The minister said since 2013, agitation and chaos had been the mainstay of PTI's politics. "But, neither this party could affect the popularity of PML-N and nor the government.

Rather, it lost its own credibility and popularity."

He said as the opposition has no issue against the government or the Paksitan Muslim League-Nawaz, and after repeated failures, it is now trying to keep itself alive by using different tactics.

The minister said these tactics will meet the same fate as their previous tactics.

"Therefore, they should restrict themselves to politicians and political parties who can be discussed at roads and the Parliament.

But, avoid discussing and politicizing the state institutions."
