Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani on Wednesday directed the Ministry of Culture to send a two-member technical delegation to make necessary arrangements for the transfer of confiscated antiquities of Pakistan origin from Italy and United Kingdom. The Italian Police has confiscated 96 antiquities of Pakistani origin and handed over to Pakistan embassy in Rome, Italy.In addition to above, 198 antiquities have also been confiscated by the Customs Department at Heathrow Airport, London, UK.
