ISLAMABAD - Five Senators of Awami National Party and National Party have moved an adjournment motion in the Senate, expressing their serious concern over the increasing incidents of extortion in Karachi.
Senators Mohammad Zahid Khan, Afrasiab Khattak, Shahi Syed, Haji Adeel and Mir Hasil Khan Bizenjo in their joint adjournment motion said the people of Karachi were feeling insecure and the trade and economy of the country was being badly affected because of extortion incidents. They sought a thorough debate in the house on this issue of national importance.
